This recipe has been handed down to myself by my mum & now I would like to pass it on to you as it is super easy, cheap and healthy and one you can quickly whip up if you have unexpected guest rock up for morning tea!
Basil & Garlic Pesto Dip
1 tin of chick peas – drained (I use organic)
1 bunch of fresh basil
Olive Oil (enough to make smooth and slightly oily – apply to taste)
Salt & Pepper
2 Drops of Doterra Lemon Oil or 1/4 fresh squeezed lemon
2 cloves of chopped garlic
Put all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until you get a smooth creamy dip!
Serve with crackers, sough dough, on an antipasto platter, with roast potatoes or kale chips!
