I posted this pic on my instagram stories a few days back and I got a lot of people inbox me for the recipe, so I thought I would share it on the blog.
However, please keep in mind that when I make my Ayurvedic inspired meals I do not really follow a recipe. I take note of how I am feeling, whether my dosha is imbalanced or feeling balanced & how well my “Agni” (digestive fire) is on that particular day. I then add the appropriate spices or herbs to balance my dosha and aid in digestion.
You should consider your dosha (unique constitution) when preparing meals. If you would like to find out more about your dosha you can go to my website and do my FREE dosha quizz. If you want an indepth customized meal plan and dosha analysis please book in for a private consultation with me.
The “Recipe”
~ Steamed Rice (you want to be adding more vegetables than rice, the rice should account for 1/4 of the meal. The vegetables should account for the rest).
~ Broccolini Chopped
~ Asparagus Chopped
~ 4 x diced sundried tomatoes
~ A sprinkle of pine nuts
~ Fresh Corriander
~ Fresh Thyme
~ Fresh Mint
~ Herbs and Spices: fennel seeds, Cumin Seeds, pepper, pink himalayan rock salt, fenugreek
~ Cook all of the above in organic ghee in a fry pan
~ Option: Add some diced avocado or fetta ontop (not ideal for Kapha imbalanced dosha).
