Its great to get a little creative in the kitchen! By creating your own recipes you learn how to use the foods that you have available in your pantry and fridge which minimizes wastage and allows you to make fresh and healthy snacks or meals for yourself and the family.
Not all recipes will work out – and that is completely fine! Just make sure you write down the ones that do so you can pass them on as your “Family Recipes”.
It a good idea to keep them all in a folder so you have your very own cook book of creations.
I generally free pour everything so please alter my recipes if you need to as the measurements are generally a guess 😉
These are the Bliss Balls that I created with left over ingredients that were in my pantry when I was doing a pantry clean out:
Pepita and Juniper Berry Bliss Balls
1 Cup of Hazelnut Meal
2 Tbs of Coconut Oil (Melted)
1 Tbs Organic Peanut Butter
12 Pre Soaked Dates
3 Tbs Cacao Powder
2 Drops of Vanilla Stevia
2 Drops of Juniper Berry Essential Oil
1 Drop of Cardamon Essential Oil
Place ingredients into a food processor – Mix on a medium speed
Mix through the Pepita’s separately by hand or with a spatula
Roll the mixture into little balls and place them in the fridge to set
Best served straight from the fridge!
