The Womens Natural Health Transformation Series is a series of 3 workshops based on Ayurveda, naturopathy & nutrition offering a wholistic approach in maganging your health and wellness, and to transform you mind~body into a state of balance as you cross the different paths we are faced with as women: Hormone balancing in our childbearing years, irregular &/or heaving painful periods, every day stress/anxiety in our modern world, weight management through menopause, conflicting information on fad diets & exercise, getting to know your biological constitution (dosha) & working with your individual dosha to create wholistic balance in your life, eating right for you mind~body type... (just to name a few).

So come along & bring your soul sisters for a morning fueled with valuable education that will help inspire you to transform your mind & body through a natural health approach. A Morning Tea of healthy snacks and a selection of herbal teas will be provided.

1. Workshop 1 June 23rd : Intro to Ayurveda Mind~Body transformation - Balancing your individual dosha. 

~ Presented by Harmony Robinson-Stagg (Registered Nurse, Ayurveda Consultant & Yoga Teacher)

A simple approach to understanding Ayurveda & how your mind~body constitution works so that you can create balance in your mind~body, reduce feelings of anxiety & heightened stress, improve digestion, increase energy and enhance vitatlity. 

What is Ayurveda? 

Ayurveda is a wholistic integrated health care system originating from India around 5000 thousand years ago, combining the knowledge of science, psychology, spirituality and philosophy.

Ayurveda understands that the mind body & spirit work in unison to cultivate optimal health. 
Ayurveda draws its insights from nature & life itself. Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge. Ayurveda put simply is "the science of life".

Ayurveda transformation is taking some of the ancient teachings and wisdoms and applying them to your modern day life to help heal & enhance the health of your body & mind.

We were all born with different constitutions & our lifestyle today will also infulence our current doshic constitution. Ayurveda helps us to understand our own individual make up and apply the Ayurvedic knowledge to maintain optimal health and wellbeing through eating for our individual constitution (dosha), understanding certain temperamental traits that may affect our mind and preventing certain health issues that may arise for us depending on our individual dosha.

In this workshop you will discover your own individual dosha and how to work with it to create balance & harmony in you mind and body. 

Ayurveda is a very practical, safe and effective health care method which has been used for more then 5000 yrs to treat & prevent physical & emotional health issues.

I believe it is just as important, if not more, to intergrate the practice of Ayurveda in our modern day lifestyles to help combat our modern day health concerns such as anxiety, depression, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, body weight excess, allergies/sensitivites, skin disorders & the overwhelm of life and the information thrown at us. Bring it back to basics....

2. Workshop 2 July 21st: Balance your hormones, regulate your cycle & reduce stress.

~ Presented by Amy Mingin (Naturopath, podcast host and Yoga Teacher specialising in Womens Health).

It’s frustrating to have the inconvenience of not knowing where you’re up to with your period and even more frustrating to turn into a crazy lady for seemingly ‘no good reason’ when your period is approaching.

Do you suffer from PMS? Do you suffer from cramping or heavy periods? Do you get extra stressed around that time of the month or do you fly in & out of stress mode all month long!!! Amy will help shed some light on these common questions and give you a real yet simple answer in balancing your hormones.

 

3. Workshop 3 August 11th: Manopause & weight management 

~ Presented by Hayley Behrens (Nutritional food coach & personal trainer for Peri & post menopausal women).

For decades we have been taught that to lose weight we must stop eating. The truth, however is quite the opposite.

As we all get older, what we used to do to keep in shape no longer works!

By focusing on Hayleys 5 SEMBA principles you will be able to effectively take control over menopause & come out the other side without gaining weight, feeling fitter, and positively glowing.

Participants accepts and assumes the risk associated with Yoga, Pilates & Fitness, including, but not limited to, equipment malfunction & failure, overexertion, inability to perform suggested exercises or manoeuvres, physical or mental conditions that impede the ability to properly perform suggested exercises or manoeuvres, failure to properly operate equipment/props, failure to follow instruction & taking on the risk to perform the exercises/poses/manoeuvres by watching the video content without any supervision from a trainer/instructor. Participants hereby freely & expressly assumes all risk of property damage, injury & death with associated Yoga, Pilates & or Fitness.

    Participant understands that it is his/her responsibility to consult with a physician prior to & regarding participation in Yoga, Pilates or Fitness based exercises. Participant represents & warrants that he/she has no physical or mental condition that would prevent full participation in Yoga, Pilates or Fitness exercise.

    Participant agrees to inform his/her instructor immediately by email of any physical or mental condition that would prevent his/her full participation & not continue until they receive a response.

    In consideration for participation in Yoga, Pilates & fitness, receiving instruction via audio, video, in a group, private or semi-private lessons, & using the equipment at home or your chosen destination &/or facilities provided by Harmony Inspired Yoga & Pilates, Participant hereby agrees to release, hold harmless, & indemnify Harmony Inspired Health, Yoga & Pilates and its owners, partners, employees, independent contractors, directors, officers, agents, instructors, licensees and affiliates from any and all claims by or on behalf of participant against Harmony Inspired Health, Yoga & Pilates arising directly or indirectly out of participant’s participation in Yoga, Pilates, Fitness exercise, use of any Harmony Inspired Health, Yoga & Pilates equipment or facilities, & participation in any class, program, retreat or workshop offered by Harmony Inspired Health, Yoga & Pilates.

    This release includes claims & liabilities arising from any cause whatsoever, including, but not limited to, negligence on the part of Harmony Inspired Health, Yoga & Pilates.

    This release is binding upon participants, & participant heirs, assigns, & legal representatives.

    In signing/accepting on behalf of a minor participant, Parent/Guardian accepts full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred due to the minor’s participation in Yoga, Pilates & Fitness exercises & agrees to release, hold harmless, & indemnify (including costs & attorney’s fees) Harmony Inspired Health, Yoga & Pilates for any claims brought by or on behalf of the minor.
